CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Junior midfielder Kaitlin Duff has been honored by the Atlantic Coast Conference for her play through last week’s conference tournament, being named to the All-Tournament Team. The honor marks the first for Duff.
A two-time All-ACC Team selection, Duff led the Cavaliers in this season’s conference tournament, tallying a team-high five goals and added an assist. She scooped up seven ground balls in the two games, while causing three turnovers.
Duff has led the Cavaliers all season in ground balls and caused turnovers. Her current total of 47 ground balls ranks 38th nationally, while her 41 caused turnovers leads the ACC and ranks her seventh in the NCAA.
