Singh, Inglot Win Titles on Futures Tour

BHIMAVARAM, India — Former Virginia men’s tennis players Sanam Singh (Class of 2011) and Dom Inglot (Class of 2009) won titles on the ITF Futures Tour last week. Singh won the singles title at the tournament in Bhimavaram, India, while Inglot won the doubles title at the tournament in Birmingham, England.

Singh won his third consecutive singles title in his native India. In this week’s final he defeated former Alabama standout Saketh Myneni 6-4, 4-6, 7-5. In the match, he rallied from down 5-2 in the third set to take the title.

Inglot teamed with countryman Chris Eaton for the title in Birmingham. It was Inglot’s 10th career doubles title on the Futures Tour.
