Friday NCAA Tournament Games Postponed to Saturday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The first day of competition for the 2012 NCAA Charlottesville Regional at Davenport Field was postponed Friday because of inclement weather.
Virginia will resume its game against Army at 1 p.m. Saturday; the game will pick up in the bottom of the first inning with no score. Oklahoma will play Appalachian State in the second game at 6 p.m.

Saturday, June 2
Game 1 – No. 1 Virginia vs. No. 4 Army, 1 p.m.
Game 2 – No. 2 Oklahoma vs. No. 3 Appalachian State, 6 p.m.
Sunday, June 3
Game 3 – Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 11 a.m.
Game 4 – Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2, 3 p.m.
Game 5 – Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4, 7 p.m.
Monday, June 4
Game 6 – Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 4, 4 p.m.
Game 7 – Winner Game 6 vs. Loser Game 6 (if necessary), 50 minutes after conclusion of Game 6
Tickets purchased for the regional games are only valid for the originally ticketed session. There are no ticket refunds or exchanges as the normal rain policy is not in effect for postseason play. Fans who attended the UVa-Army game Friday should bring their ticket stubs to the gate for re-entry.
All parking is $5 per day in the University Hall, John Paul Jones Arena and McCue Center lots for the regional. However, the John Paul Jones Arena parking lot and garage will not be available for baseball parking on Saturday (June 2) because of an event at the arena. Fans who purchased parking on Friday will be able to park in the University Hall and McCue Center lots on Saturday for no additional fee by showing their parking stub as long as parking spaces are available in those lots. Fans who purchased pre-paid parking may also park in the University Hall and McCue Center lots. Parking will be free throughout the tournament in the Emmet/Ivy Garage.
A limited number of single-session Reserved tickets are available for $12 each at the Davenport Field ticket booth on game day.
WINA 1070-AM in Charlottesville will join select stations along the Virginia Sports Radio Network with live radio coverage. The audio also will be streamed online at VirginiaSports.com. Live statistics will be available at VirginiaSports.com. There will be no television broadcast or video webcast for this regional.
All-session General Admission ticket books are currently on sale for $45 and all-session Reserved ticket books are available for $60. Single-session tickets will be $12 for Reserved and $8 for General Admission.
