CHARLOTTESVILLE — Two former Virginia men’s tennis players posted new career high rankings in the latest ATP Doubles Rankings (June 18). Treat Huey (Class of 2008) climbed to No. 37 this week, while Dom Inglot (Class of 2009) moved up to No. 85.
Last week Huey teamed with former Stanford standout Scott Lipsky to reach the final of the Gerry Weber Open, an ATP 250 tournament in Halle, Germany. It was the third career ATP final for Huey, who reached the final in Houston with Inglot earlier this year and in Los Angeles last year with Somdev Devvarman.
Inglot reached the quarterfinals of last week’s Nottingham Challenger with fellow Brit Jonathan Marray.
This week both players will be playing at the ATP 250 Aegon International in Eastbourne, England. Huey, playing with Oliver Marach, are the No. 4 seed in the draw, marking the first time Huey has been seeded in an ATP tournament. Inglot and Marray received a wild card.
The following week Huey and Inglot will reunite to play Wimbledon.
