VIRGINIA 2, FLORIDA 0 (March 23 – Cary, N.C.)
The Cavaliers opened the spring with a 2-0 win over Florida at the WakeMed Soccer Park. Morgan Brian scored on an assist from Brittany Ratcliffe and Amber Fry scored on an assist from Morgan Stith. The Virginia defense kept the clean sheet through the three 30-minute periods.

VIRGINIA 2, DUKE 1 (March 30 – Glen Allen, Va.)
The Cavaliers downed ACC rival Duke 2-1 at Striker Park. Brittany Ratcliffe gave Virginia the lead on an assist from Morgan Brian. After the Blue Devils tied the game, Makenzy Doniak scored the game-winner in the 89th minute on an assist from Gloria Douglas.

VIRGINIA 6, WASHINGTON SPIRIT 3 (April 6 – Boyds, Md.)
The Cavaliers remained unbeaten in the spring with a 6-3 win over professional club Washington Spirit of NWSL. Virginia jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the first half over the first 40 minutes of play. Gloria Douglas gave UVa the lead in the fifth minute on an assist from Danielle Colaprico. The lead doubled in the 24th minute as Kaili Torres scored on a rebound in the box. After the Spirit cut the lead in half in the 32nd minute on a goal by former Florida State All-American Tiffany McCarty, Amber Fry answered with a one-timer of a Makenzy Doniak pass. Doniak followed with two goals herself, a breakaway in the 36th minute and off a Morgan Brian assist in the 40th minute. McCarty closed out the first half scoring with her second of the night, off an assist from former Cavalier Caroline Miller, to make the halftime score 5-2. Each team struck once during the final 45 minutes, with Mary Morgan scoring off an assist from Amber Fry in the 64th minute and Washington got a goal from former Maryland standout Jasmyne Spencer in the 73rd minute. The Spirit lineup included five Virginia alumni: Chantel Jones, Kika Toulouse, Lori Lindsey, Julia Roberts and Caroline Miller.

VIRGINIA 5, PENN STATE 1 (April 13 – Ellicott City, Md.)
Virginia won its fourth consecutive game of the season, downing NCAA runner-up Penn State 5-1. Gloria Douglas scored twice to lead the Cavaliers, while Molly Menchel, Mary Morgan and Amber Fry also found the back of the net. Morgan Brian, Morgan Stith, Brittany Ratcliffe, Kaili Torres and Shasta Fisher each had an assist.
