BASEL, Switzerland – The pair of Virginia men’s tennis alumni Treat Huey (Class of 2008) and Dominic Inglot (Class of 2009) won their second career ATP Tour doubles title, winning the crown at the 500-level Swiss Indoors. Huey and Inglot topped Julian Knowle and Oliver Marach, 6-3, 3-6, 10-4, in Sunday’s final.

Huey and Inglot, who last year won the first ATP title by Virginia alumni at the Citi Open in Washington, D.C., were victorious in their third ATP final of the year. By winning the Swiss Indoors, the pair will share ?102,780 in prize money.

The duo will climb from No. 14 to a career-high No. 11 in the ATP doubles team rankings next week. They are still in the running for one of the final three unclaimed spots in the top eight that will qualify for next month’s Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. With a strong performance at next week’s BNP Paribas Masters in Paris, Huey and Inglot could climb into the top eight and qualify for the tour’s season-ending showcase event.
