#UVABase shared this memory of former president George HW Bush. The 41st President of the United States scored a run in Yale’s 6-4 victory over the Cavaliers in the 1947 season-opening game (played at Lambeth Field). The clipping is from the Daily Progress.
 

A Guy Name Joe

The Wall Street Journal‘s Ben Cohen wrote an extensive feature on former #UVAMBB standout Joe Harris. The piece looks at how Harris went from unemployment to becoming one of the most valuable members of the Brooklyn Nets, “one of those incredibly useful role players that ever NBA team would be lucky to have.” It is a long piece, but definitely a worthy read.
