No. 5 Virginia Hosts No. 20 Notre Dame in ACC Home Opener
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 5 Virginia women’s lacrosse team (7-2, 0-2 ACC) hosts No. 20 Notre Dame (7-0, 1-0 ACC) in its first home game in Atlantic Coast Conference play on Saturday, March 16 at noon at Klöckner Stadium.

CAVALIER TIDBITS
- Virginia picked up its third win over a ranked opponent on Wednesday night, with a 12-9 win over No. 10 Loyola.
- Junior Sammy Mueller (Pelham, N.Y.) scored four goals to lead the Cavaliers, while senior Avery Shoemaker (Wyndmoor, Pa.) notched a hat trick with three.
- Senior Maggie Jackson (Alexandria, Va.) had seven draw controls to lead the Cavaliers.
