Two former Cavaliers earned Team USA roster spots this weekend. #UVAMBB alum Joe Harris was named to the final roster for the men’s basketball team that will be competing in China in September at the FIBA World Cup. Harris has been playing with the team in their warm-ups, including three games in Australia this last weekend, but has officially made the final 12-person roster. This is his first stint as a member of Team USA.

#UVAWGolf alumna Brittany Altomare secured a spot on the Solheim Cup team that will be competing in Gleneagles, Scotland in September. She will be one of 12 players representing the US in a head-to-head battle with a squad from Europe in the biennial match-lay competition. This is her first time earning a spot on the roster.
