Former Virginia women’s tennis star Danielle Collins opens competition at the US Open this afternoon when she takes on Polona Hercog. Two-time #NCAAMTEN singles champion Somdev Devvarman showed off one of his other talents this weekend, making his debut as a musician. Devvarman and a five-member band played a six-song set at the Covelong Point Surf, Music and Yoga Festival in India. Sadly, there is not a YouTube video of the performance, so we will have to wait to hear it ourselves, but here is an article from The Hindu newspaper in which he talks about his new hobby.
