Follow Wednesday's ACC Kickoff Event

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia Fralin Family Head Football Coach Bronco Mendenhall will be joined by junior quarterback Brennan Armstrong (Shelby, Ohio), senior free safety Joey Blount (Atlanta, Ga.) and senior wide receiver/quarterback Keytaon Thompson (New Orleans, La.) at Wednesday’s (July 21) ACC Kickoff event in Charlotte, N.C.

The two-day event brings together local, regional and national media with ACC student-athletes, coaches, administrators, bowl partners and ACC Network personnel for the unofficial beginning of football season.

Wednesday, student-athletes and coaches from the Coastal Division will participate in a variety of interview formats with the Atlantic Division schools following on Thursday. First-year ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips kicks off the event with his address to the media at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The UVA press conference will stream live starting at 2:30 p.m. Mendenhall and the Cavalier players will appear live on ACC Network programs between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. (see above links).

Media in attendance will also vote on the Preseason All-ACC Teams as well as the predicted league order of finish.
