RALEIGH, N.C. – Three Virginia men’s tennis team members compete as individuals at the Wolfpack Fall Open Sept. 13-15 at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center in Raleigh, N.C.
The tournament is a WTN (World Tennis Number) event. The results do not count in individual collegiate win/loss records.
Keegan Rice opened the tournament with a straight-set victory against 5-seed Gerard Planelles Ripoll of Arkansas to advance to the Round of 16 where he fell 7-6 (4), 6-1 against Vladislav Melnic.
Mans Dahlberg and Jack Griffin also competed. Dahlberg was the No. 8 seed in the A Draw.
The Cavaliers’ first collegiate event of the fall will be the ITA All-American, held Sept. 21-29 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
