No. 21 Virginia Hosts No. 9 Clemson on Saturday

The Cavaliers host Clemson in an ACC match-up on Saturday, March 14 at 4 p.m. The game will be televised on the ACC Network.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The No. 21 Virginia women's lacrosse team (5-4, 3-1 ACC) hosts No. 9 Clemson (4-4, 1-3 ACC) on Saturday, March 14 at 4 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium in Charlottesville, Va.

FAN INFORMATION

  • New this year, all regular-season home contests at Klöckner Stadium will feature complimentary admission
  • The game will be broadcast live on ACC Network
  • Live stats will also be available
  • Virginia will host a postgame youth clinic after the game, open to K-8th grade. 
  • The clinic will take place on Klöckner Field immediately after the conclusion of our game. Please meet our coordinator at the corner of the field, UVA bench side, at the conclusion of our game. CLICK HERE to register
  • The first 100 fans through the gate will receive a free UVA Lacrosse bucket hat
  • Please note: both baseball and softball will be playing as well on Saturday, so please allow extra time to find parking. CLICK HERE if you want to purchase tickets for baseball vs Virginia Tech at 1 pm. Softball games are free to attend

GAME NOTES

  • Virginia is on a three-game winning streak and is looking for its second top-10 victory of the season
  • Junior midfielder Kate Galica is coming off a career-high five-goal performance against Princeton
  • Galica also had 11 draws against the Tigers, helping the Cavaliers to build a 19-3 edge in draws in the game
  • Junior attacker Madison Alaimo has moved into fourth place on the UVA all-time list for career assists. She ranks 13th in the nation and second in the ACC in assists per game (2.78) this season and leads the team in points per game (4.11)

ON THE HORIZON

  • Virginia will be playing at Scott Stadium on Saturday, March 21 (2 pm) in a doubleheader with the men's team (11 am vs Utah). One ticket is valid for both games
