STANFORD, Calif. – The No. 9 Virginia women’s tennis team (17-4, 10-0 ACC) concluded its weekend on the West Coast with a 4-0 win over Stanford on Sunday night (April 5) at the Arrillaga Tennis Center.
The Cavaliers' win streak improves to 11 matches and they remain the sole undefeated team in the ACC.
Virginia dominated the doubles slate, cruising to a 1-0 lead following a 6-0 win by No. 6 Vivian Yang and Melodie Collard on court one and a 6-1 win by No. 27 Martina Genis Salas and Annebelle Xu on two.
No. 113 Genis Salas expanded Virginia's lead to 2-0 with her 6-2, 6-0 victory on six. No. 83 Kaitlyn Rolls, the reigning ACC Freshman of the Week, tacked on a 6-2, 6-4 win on three to bring the Cavaliers within a point of the clinch before fifth-year Melodie Collard shut the door with her 6-2, 6-3 win on five.

- The Cavaliers conclude their regular season with a pair of home matches. Virginia hosts Wake Forest on Friday, April 10 at 4 p.m. followed by NC State on Sunday, April 12 at 1 p.m. Friday's matchup against Wake Forest will serve as Senior Day.
