Melissa Simmons is the assistant manager of information systems. In her position, she is responsible for training and technology support.
Prior to arriving in athletics, Simmons spent 10 years as a help desk professional at Virginia’s Information, Technology and Communication department.
She earned a bachelor of science in marketing from NH College and was the recipient of the Virginia Athletics Star Performer Award in 2005.
She resides in Nelson County, Va.
