NCAA ELITE SCHOLAR-ATHLETE AWARD

The Elite Scholar-Athlete Award is a national honor presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA’s championships. The award was initially called the Elite 88 Award for the 88 NCAA Championships, then the Elite 89 and later the Elite 90 Award. In 2025, the award was renamed the Elite Scholar-Athlete Award.
