2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament
Virginia Athletics will receive a limited allotment for the games in which it participates. Please see below for information on ticketing procedures and important dates
First Four
(March 19, 2024)

Due to the limited allotment Virginia receives, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets directly through the NCAA here.
First/Second Round
(March 21 & 23, 2024)
Due to the limited allotment Virginia receives, fans are encouraged to purchase tickets directly through the NCAA here.
A limited number of Virginia Athletics Foundation donors will receive an email with the opportunity to REQUEST up to four (4) tickets from Virginia’s allotment beginning Sunday, March 17th at approximately 7 p.m.
The deadline to request tickets is Monday, March 18th at 5 p.m. Fans who submit a request will be notified of their status on Wednesday, March 20th and awarded tickets will be charged the same day. Requests are not guaranteed to be filled. Refunds will not be provided for any awarded tickets.
Tickets are $120 for lower-level and $90 per upper-level ticket per round. All orders are subject to a $10 processing fee per round.
Please note that NCAA ticket orders for the First and Second Round will only be filled should Virginia play in each round. Fans are not permitted to order First Round tickets without committing to Second Round tickets and vice versa. Tickets purchased through Virginia Athletics are only valid for the games in which Virginia plays.
- In the event Virginia wins the First Round, fans awarded tickets will automatically be charged & receive tickets for the Second Round. Please note, seat location may change.
- In the event Virginia loses the First Round, fans will not be charged or receive tickets for the Second Round.
Regional Round
(March 29 & 31, 2024)
Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and men’s basketball season ticket members are eligible to REQUEST 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Regional Round tickets beginning Wednesday, March 20th.
Fans may request the number of tickets based on their giving level. The deadline to request is Monday, March 25th at 5 p.m. Fans who submit a request will be notified by email as to the status of their request on Tuesday March 26th. Requests are not guaranteed to be filled. Refunds will not be provided for any awarded tickets.
Tickets are $180 for lower-level and $175 per upper-level ticket per round. All orders are subject to a $10 processing fee per round.
Please note that NCAA ticket orders for the Regional Semifinal & Regional Final will only be filled should Virginia play in each round. Fans are not permitted to order tickets for one specific round.
- In the event Virginia wins the Regional semifinal, fans awarded tickets will automatically be charged & receive tickets for the Regional Final. Please note that seat location may change.
- In the event Virginia loses the Regional semifinal, fans will not be charged or receive tickets for the Regional Final.
Final Four
(April 6 & 8, 2024)
Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and men’s basketball season ticket members will be eligible to REQUEST 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four tickets beginning Wednesday, March 27th.
Fans may request the number of tickets based on their giving level. The deadline to request is Tuesday, April 2nd at 5 p.m. Fans who submit a request will be notified by email as to the status of their request on Wednesday April 3rd. Requests are not guaranteed to be filled. Refunds will not be provided for any awarded tickets.
Tickets are $200 for lower-level per round. All orders are subject to a processing fee per round.
Please note NCAA ticket orders for the Semifinal & Championship will only be filled should Virginia play in each round. Fans are not permitted to order tickets for one specific round.
- In the event Virginia wins the semifinal, fans awarded tickets will automatically be charged & receive tickets for the championship. Please note, seat location may change.
- In the event Virginia loses the semifinal, fans will not be charged or receive tickets for the championship.
Information on travel packages for the Final Four, if available, will be announced at a later date.
Student Ticket Information
First/Second Round & Regionals
Students will be eligible to REQUEST a 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament First/Second Round on Monday March 18th. Students may request one (1) ticket by calling the ticket office. The deadline to request is Monday, March 18th at 5 p.m. Students who submit a request will be notified by email as to the status of their request on Tuesday March 19th.
Tickets are $90 per round and located in the upper level. All orders are subject to a processing fee. Students are not permitted to order a ticket for one specific round. If Virginia advances to the 2nd Round, student awarded a ticket to the 1st round will automatically be charged and receive a ticket for the 2nd round.
In the event the demand exceeds available inventory, a lottery will be conducted. Students that are awarded a ticket will be seated based on Sabre Points. Seat location may vary from game to game.
Final Four
Students will be eligible to REQUEST a 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four ticket beginning Thursday March 28th.
Student may request one (1) ticket. The deadline to request is Monday, April 1st at 5 p.m. Students who submit a request will be notified by email as to the status of their request on Tuesday April 2nd.
Tickets are $40. All orders are subject to a processing fee. Please note, student tickets may not be transferred or resold and students must present their student ID upon entry. Refunds will not be provided for any awarded tickets.

- In the event Virginia wins the semifinal, students awarded a ticket for the semifinal will automatically receive a ticket for the championship. There is no additional cost.
- In the event Virginia loses the semifinal, students will not receive a ticket for the championship.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Giving Levels
The maximum number of tickets which can be requested is limited by the 2023 Virginia Athletics Foundation donor’s giving level for the Regional & Final Four.

Requests will be filled based on VAF priority points for gifts through December 31, 2023. All 2023 VAF pledges must be paid in full to be eligible. Fans will only be charged in the event they are awarded tickets. All fulfilled requests are non-refundable.
All tickets will be distributed in a digital format to be displayed on a mobile device at the time of entry. Ticket delivery details will be sent to ticket holders in advance of the tournament event dates.
