PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The University of Virginia women’s tennis team won apair of matches on Friday in the 16-team ECAC Invitational TennisChampionship, which is being held at Rutgers and Princeton. The ECACChampionship is the first team tournament that Virginia has participatedthis year and now stand at 2-0 on the season.
The Cavaliers, playing at Buccleuch Park in Piscataway, opened thetournament with a 5-0 win over Rutgers in the morning session. On Fridayafternoon, Virginia continued its winning ways by defeating Seton Hall 7-1.At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, the ‘Hoos will take on Dartmouth.
