CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The University of Virginia women’s soccer teamreceived a bid to the NCAA Championships as announced tonight by the NCAA.

The Cavaliers, ranked 16th in the NSCAA Poll, were awarded a first roundbye and will host the winner of the James Madison/Pennsylvania game onSunday, Nov. 14. Game time is scheduled for Klockner Stadium at 2:00 pm.

Virginia (12-8) faced James Madison earlier this season and wereupset by the Dukes 2-1.

The Cavaliers are led in scoring by Angela Hucles (Norfolk,Va./Norfolk Academy) with 8 goals and 7 assists for 23 points. Jill Maxwell(Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) leads the team with 10 goals and 22 points.
