CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – University of Virginia wrestling head coachLenny Bernstein has announced three changes in the Cavaliers 1999-2000schedule. UVa will compete against the North Carolina State Wolfpack andthe Duke Blue Devils on Sunday, February 20th. Virginia will wrestle N.C.State at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, N.C. at 2:00 p.m. and then willtravel to Durham, N.C. to face Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium at 6:00 p.m.Both Atlantic Coast Conference dual matches were rescheduled afterinclimate weather postponed the originally scheduled matches on January28th (Duke) and 29th (N.C. State).
Another schedule change of note, Virginia’s match with ClarionUniversity for February 19th at 1:00 p.m. has been cancelled.
The Cavaliers (2-4 overall, 0-1 ACC) will return to action thisSunday (Feb. 6th) when UVa competes in the Third Annual AU CongressionalCup in Washington DC. Seven nationally-prominent Division I teams willmake up the tournament field in the event hosted by American University.Virginia will competed with American, Carson-Newman, George Mason, Hofstra,Maryland and Rutgers in the tournament which begins at 10:00 a.m.
