GREENSBORO, N.C. – Virginia sophomore attackman Conor Gill has been tabbed the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week, after leading the Cavaliers to a come-from-behind victory over then-second-ranked Princeton this past weekend.

The Lutherville, Md. native led UVa’s rally, as the Cavaliers fell behind the Tigers by a 3-1 score midway through the first quarter before putting together a seven-goal barrage to eventually claim a 15-8 victory. Gill was the catalyst for the rally, as he had a hand in five of the seven tallies, scoring two of his own, while assisting on three others. His goal at the 13:16 mark of the second quarter broke a 4-4 tie and gave Virginia a lead that it would not relinquish for the remainder of the contest. He finished the game with the two goals and added another assist for a total of four on the afternoon.

On the season, Gill ranks second on the team in scoring with three goals and four assists for a total of seven points.
