CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia’s baseball gamewith the Radford Highlanders this afternoon has been cancelled. Thecontest was scheduled to be played at 3:00 p.m. in Radford, Va. at theDedmon Center Field. The game may be rescheduled for a later date.
The Cavaliers will now travel to Raleigh, N.C. this afternoon toprepare for their upcoming three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series withthe North Carolina State Wolfpack. Virginia and N.C. State will play onFriday, March 17th at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 18th at 1:30 p.m. andSunday, March 19th at 1:30 p.m. All three contests are scheduled to beplayed at the Wolfpack’s Doak Field in Raleigh, N.C.
The Cavaliers and Wolfpack were picked to finish tied for sixthplace in the ACC Preseason Coaches Poll. UVa brings a 11-10-1 record intothe weekend series with the 13-7 NCSU squad.
