Charlottesville, Va.-The IWLCA Poll Committee has released thethird week’s rankings for the NCAA Division I lacrosse field for 2000.Rankings will be released weekly on Monday afternoons.
The same 20 teams stayed in the poll this week, but there was a bitof shuffling. Princeton jumped five spots after recording two top-10victories last week, and Boston University jumped into the top-10 for thefirst time in school history with a pair of wins last week.

In games involving ranked teams this week, #1 Maryland hosts #9Dartmouth on Tuesday. Wednesday in the Commonwealth of Virginia is anexciting day as #2 James Madison travels to #19 Old Dominion and #20William and Mary travels to #3 Virginia. On Saturday 14 ranked teams willface each other, with #5 Duke hosting #6 Georgetown and the Cavalierswelcoming #7 North Carolina in a crucial ACC battle. Conference battlesinvolving top-20 teams include #14 Yale vs #9 Dartmouth and #8 Loyolaagainst the Tribe. The second-ranked Dukes take on former CAA-rival #12Delaware while the Terps welcome the Monarchs. Also on Saturday #13 PennState takes on #4 Princeton. On Sunday new #10 Boston University travels to#18 Vanderbilt.
