CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Amy Fromal (Folsom, Pa./Ridley) was named an honorablemention player of the week this week by insidelacrosse.com. Fromal hadnine ground balls and five caused turnovers to keep the Hoos in the gameagainst JMU and then five more grounders plus a hat trick and an assist inthe upset at Duke.
On the season, Fromal ranks third in scoring with 21 goals and 6assists for 27 points. Her 53 ground balls leads the team and she rankssecond in both caused turnovers (19) and draw controls (21). A 1999first-team All-American, Fromal is also a member of the United StatesNational Developmental Team.
