Baseball Game Versus James Madison Postponed

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Virginia’s baseball game with the James Madison Dukes this afternoon has been postponed. The contest was scheduled to be played at 3:00 p.m. at the UVa Baseball Field, but was postponed due to heavy rain in the area. The game has been rescheduled and will be played on Monday, April 24th at 4:00 p.m. and the UVa Baseball Field in Charlottesville, Va.

UVa also has a schedule change in its Atlantic Coast Conference series with the Clemson Tigers. Virginia will now play Clemson in a doubleheader on Saturday, May 13th beginning at 12:00 noon, followed by a single contest on Sunday, April 14th beginning at 1:00 p.m. The series was originally scheduled to be played on Friday, May 12th at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 14th at 1:00 p.m. All three games of that series will be played at the UVa Baseball Field.

The Cavaliers (17-22-1, 5-10 ACC) will return to action on Wednesday, April 19th when UVa travels to Blacksburg, Va. to face the Virginia Tech Hokies in a contest scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.
