CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — A 2000-2001 men’s basketball schedule featuring15 home games has been released by University of Virginia AthleticDirector Terry Holland.
Virginia’s home schedule includes eight games against AtlanticCoast Conference (ACC) opponents, a game with Purdue University in theACC/Big 10 Challenge and games with Long Island University, CoastalCarolina University, Ohio University, the University ofMaryland-Baltimore County, Bucknell University, and the University ofMissouri.
In addition to eight games with ACC opponents, the Cavaliers’road schedule features a neutral site game with the University ofTennessee in the Jimmy V Classic at the Meadowlands and games atVirginia Tech, Virginia Military Institute and Dartmouth College.
The 48th annual ACC Tournament is scheduled for March 8-11 inAtlanta, Ga.
Please Note: This schedule includes one game that was not included onthe Virginia schedule released by the Atlantic Coast Conference officelast week. The additional game is with Ohio University at home onDecember 6.
