WWRC-AM 570 Joins The Virginia Sports Radio Network

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.– – Cavalier Sports Marketing, the marketing and broadcast partner for University of Virginia Athletics, has announced an agreement with WWRC-AM 570. WWRC-AM 570, a member of the Clear Channel family of radio stations in the Northern Virginia and Maryland area, will broadcast Virginia football games for the 2000 season.

The one-year agreement provides UVa fans in the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., metro area with access to the play-by-play broadcasts of all University of Virginia football games during the 2000 season.

Adding WWRC-AM 570 to its affiliate list provides the Virginia Sports Radio Network with a valuable broadcast partner and adds to the overall mission of the network which is to bring Virginia games to all fans of the Cavaliers.

As a reminder, all Virginia football play-by-play broadcasts and Cavalier Call-In broadcasts (Monday evenings at 7:06 p.m.) are available worldwide on the official internet site for Virginia Athletics, virginiasports.com.
