Inge Jorgensen (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington), the 2000 ACC javelin champion, finished 19th at the NCAA Track & Field Championships held today in Durham, N.C. Jorgenson, who won the title as a first year,was competing in her first NCAA championships. She threw 42.58m (139′ 8″).
She has also qualified for the USA Track and Field Championships, which will be held July 14-23 in Sacramento, Calif. her teammate Brian Kollar (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial), who took the silver in the men’s javelin competition, has also qualified for the USATF trials.
