Virginia basketball fans will get their first chance to see the 2001-2002
Virginia Men’s and Women’s teams at “‘Hoos in the Hall.” The University’s
version of Midnight Madness returns to University Hall Fri., Oct. 19.
‘Hoos in the Hall, presented by the Biltmore Grill and O’Neill’s Irish Pub,
is free and open to the public. The first 500 fans receive a free
‘Hoos in the Hall T-shirt! Highlighting this event are special appearances
by the Virginia Cheerleaders and Dance Team, and the Virginia Pep Band.
Audience members will get a chance to win one of many prizes throughout
the evening. Activities will include a student slam-dunk contest,
faculty-student basketball game, and the Hershey’s FastBreak for Cash contest.
Gates open at 10:30 p.m. and contests and entertainment begin at
11:15 p.m. Teams take the floor at midnight. For more information, contact
