Clemson, S.C. – The UVa women’s tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Clemson on Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers are now 10-5 on the season, 1-2 in the ACC.

Amy O’Donnell improved to 13-4 on the season, after defeating Richele LeSaldo at No. 3 singles, in straight sets, 6-2, 6-0. She is 2-1 in ACC matches this spring. Dora Bechliwanis got the other win for the Cavaliers, defeating Laurence Jayet at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2. Bechliwanis is 14-6 overall, 2-1 in conference play.

The Cavaliers return to action on Wednesday, April 3, as they travel to Richmond to take on Virginia Commonwealth. The match was originally scheduled for March 22, but was postponed due to rain. UVa returns home on April 6, as they host North Carolina at 11 a.m.
