UVa Women's Tennis Rained Out At Virginia Commonwealth

RICHMOND – The UVa women’s tennis team was rained out on Wednesday afternoon at Richmond in a match against Virginia Commonwealth. This match was originally scheduled for March 22 and was rescheduled for today due to rain. With today’s rain out, the match will not be rescheduled.
All three doubles matches were completed, and will count towards the individual records. The singles matches were not completed. The Cavaliers’ team record remains at 10-5 overall. Amy O’Donnell and Christine Kim picked up a victory at No. 3 doubles, defeating Jana Carollo and Cristina Gago by a score of 8-3. O’Donnell and Kim are 5-5 on the season.
The Cavaliers return to action this weekend as they host North Carolina on Saturday at 10 a.m followed by a match with Duke on Sunday at noon. Both matches will be played at the Sheridan Snyder Tennis Center.
