#6 Seed Virginia To Face #3 Seed North Carolina In 29th Annual ACC Baseball Championship

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The #6 seeded University of Virginia baseball team will face the #3 seeded North Carolina Tar Heels in the first round of the 29th Annual Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Championship in St. Petersburg, Fla. Virginia and North Carolina are scheduled to play on Wednesday, May 22rd at 8:30 p.m. at Florida Power Park. The Cavaliers will face the winner/loser of the #2 Wake Forest vs. #7 N.C. State contest on Thursday, May 23rd. If UVa wins its game with UNC, it will play at 8:30 p.m., if Virginia loses to North Carolina, it will play at 1:30 p.m. The tournament is a double-elimination event.

Tuesday, May 21st

#8 Maryland vs. #9 Duke at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 22nd

#4 Clemson vs. #5 Georgia Tech at 10:00 a.m.#8#9 Winner vs. #1 Florida State at 1:30 p.m.#2 Wake Forest vs. #7 N.C. State at 5:00 p.m.#3 North Carolina vs. #6 Virginia at 8:30 p.m.
