CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia hosts No. 1/2 Duke on Sunday, Jan. 18 at 6:30 p.m. in University Hall. Fox Sports Net South will televise the game live.
The No. 1/2 Blue Devils, under the guidance of 12th-year head coach Gail Goestenkors, stand 13-1 overall and 4-0 in the ACC after 79-57 win over No. 13 North Carolina. Senior Alana Beard is the team leader with 19.4 ppg and 4.9 rpg, while sophomore Monique Currie adds 13.8 ppg.
Virginia, under the guidance of 27th-year head coach Debbie Ryan, stands 8-7 overall and 2-2 in the ACC after a 66-62 win at NC State on Thursday.
