CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia hits the road for a two-game swing. The first stop is at Florida State on Friday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. The Sunshine Network will televise the game live in Florida.
The Seminoles, under the guidance of seventh-year head coach Sue Semrau, stand 10-7 overall and 3-3 in the ACC after a 79-64 loss to NC State. Senior Tasheika Allen is the team leader with 14.6 ppg and 3.3 rpg, while Genesis Choice adds 10.3 ppg.
UVa then heads to Clemson on Sunday, Jan. 25 for a 2 p.m. contest.
The Lady Tigers, under the guidance of 17th-year head coach Jim Davis, stand 13-3 overall and 3-2 in the ACC after a 75-61 win at Georgia Tech. Senior Lakeia Stokes is the team leader with 19.0 ppg and 8.5 rpg, while Maggie Slosser adds 10.9 ppg. Clemson plays Wake Forest on Wednesday prior to hosting UVa.
Virginia, under the guidance of 27th-year head coach Debbie Ryan, stands 8-8 overall and 2-3 in the ACC after a 63-52 loss to No. 1/2 Duke on Sunday.
