PINEHURST, N.C. – Mother Nature has forced the postponement of the first round of the Pinehurst Challenge. North Carolina received several inches of snow Thursday evening.
Play at the 18-team tournament, hosted by Virginia and the College of Charleston, will hopefully begin on Saturday, Feb. 28. Tee times for the opening round at the Pinehurst #8 course will depend upon course conditions.
