Sarah Huffman Named NSCAA All-American

CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia women’s soccer third year midfielder Sarah Huffman (Flower Mound, Texas.) was named a second-team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Huffman becomes the 12th different player in school history to be named a NSCAA All-American.
Huffman was a key member of a Cavalier team that posted a 17-3-2 record this season. Virginia won its first ACC Championship and Huffman was named Co-MVP of the ACC Tournament. She was also named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year as Virginia posted a school record 14 shutouts. Offensively, she had four goals and a school record 14 assists on the year.
Huffman is also one of the 12 finalists for Soccer Buzz Magazine’s National Player of the Year award.
