Cavalier Sports Weekly presented by the Virginia Lottery, UVa’s groundbreaking 30-minute TV show that chronicles Virginia athletes and events, will air on Sunday, March 20th.

This week’s edition is hosted by Mac McDonald, the Cavaliers’ radio announcer, and will include highlights and analysis from the women’s basketball team’s first round NCAA Tournament game against Old Dominion University and the baseball team’s weekend series against ACC rival Maryland. Also, the show will profile junior lacrosse player Matt Ward, who leads the #2 UVA Lacrosse team in scoring and is enrolled in the challenging Business program at the McIntire School of Commerce. Finally, CSW will feature the story from the Men’s Lacrosse Team’s game against Towson Saturday afternoon.

Cavalier Sports Weekly airs Sundays regionally on Comcast Sports Net at 12:30pm, locally on WVIR NBC 29 (Charlottesville) at 10am, WRLH Fox TV (Richmond) at 11:30am, and WSET ABC TV (Lynchburg/Roanoke/Danville) at Noon, and nationally on College Sports TV on Wednesdays at 5:30pm.

Cavalier Sports Weekly will air each Sunday through April 17.
