Saturday's Games For Virginia & Virginia Tech Canceled, Doubleheader Now Scheduled For Easter Sunday At Noon

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Cavaliers (17-6, 3-3 ACC) and the Virginia Tech Hokies (7-8, 1-6 ACC) were unable to get a rescheduled doubleheader underway today (Saturday, March 26th) due to unplayable field conditions at the Hokies’ English Field. Today’s doubleheader has now been rescheduled for Sunday, March 27th and is set to begin at noon.

The first game of the series scheduled for Friday, March 25th at 7:00 PM was rained out which led to a rescheduled doubleheader on Saturday at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. However, because of the unplayable field conditions at English Field, the series now shifts to a doubleheader on Sunday in hopes of playing two of the scheduled three-games of the Atlantic Coast Conference series.
