Virginia Women to Face Johns Hopkins Thursday Afternoon at 4 pm

The University of Virginia women’s lacrosse team hosts Johns Hopkins of the American Lacrosse Conference in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this Thursday (May 12) at Klöckner Stadium. The opening draw is scheduled for 4 pm.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for youth 18-and-under, and students of the participating schools with student ID. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Bryant Hall ticket office or by calling the UVa ticket office at 1-800-542-8821 / UVA1. Tickets can also be purchase online at virginiasports.com. Tickets go on sale at Klöckner Stadium at 3 pm, one hour before the opening draw. The UVa Ticket Office encourages all fans to purchase and pick up their tickets in advance to avoid long ticket sales and will call lines.

The Cavaliers are 14-4 this season and are the tournament’s sixth seed. They are ranked sixth nationally by all four polls. Johns Hopkins finished tied for third in the American Lacrosse Conference and is currently ranked tenth nationally with a record of 11-5. This is the first meeting between Virginia and Johns Hopkins in women’s lacrosse.

The winner of this game faces the winner of the Colgate at Boston University game in the quarterfinals on Sunday, May 15.
