CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.– – The University of Virginia men’s golf team travels to the Mason Rudolph Collegiate on Sept. 30-Oct. 2. The 54-hole tournament features a field of 11 teams at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn. Action begins at 8 a.m. each day.
In the GolfWeek/Sagarin national rankings, released Sept. 26, Virginia is ranked No. 20. The Cavaliers, who reached No. 23 last fall, jumped from a final ranking of 43 last spring. Individually, freshman Conrad Von Borsig (Swarthmore, Pa.) is ranked No. 74 nationally. The true freshman paced the Cavaliers in his collegiate debut, finishing 17th with an even 213. He shot a three-under 68 in the second round.
