CHARLOTTESVILLE – Virginia men’s soccer forward Adam Cristman (Glen Allen, Va.) was named to the Soccer America Team of the Week after his performance in the 2-0 win over then No. 2 North Carolina last Saturday.
Cristman had the game-winning goal and added an assist in Virginia’s 2-0 shutout of the Tar Heels to help the Cavaliers remain undefeated in ACC play. It was Cristman’s seventh goal of the season and second assist of the season. He leads the team with 16 points.
No. 6 ranked Virginia (7-1-1, 3-0-0 ACC) wraps up its three-game homestand Wednesday night at 5 p.m. when the Cavaliers host Monmouth (3-3-3). The Cavaliers will travel to Clemson Friday night for a 7 p.m. Atlantic Coast Conference game.
