The Virginia baseball team will be hosting a youth baseball/softball day this coming Sunday, April 16th when the ‘Hoos take on ACC newcomer Boston College at 1:00 PM.
Youth players in uniform will be allowed to join the Cavaliers on the field for the National Anthem (must arrive by 12:30 PM to be included) as well as participate in a variety of post-game activities at Davenport Field including:
Easter candy hunt in the outfield sponsored by Wal Mart Cavalier Sunday Stampede: Kids may run the bases Autograph session with the players on the concourse
All fans will also have a chance to win prizes playing baseball BINGO throughout the game.
Area youth teams are encouraged to wear their uniforms and participate in Youth Baseball Day. Teams/groups will receive a discounted ticket price of $3 each, when purchasing 20 or more tickets. The team that brings the most fans will win a limited edition Virginia baseball team autographed poster for each player on their team.
