The second season of the award-winning Cavalier Sports Weekly, presented by the Virginia Lottery, concludes this Sunday, April 16th. The fast-paced, half-hour program provides comprehensive coverage of Virginia Athletics. Cavalier Sports Weekly can be seen regionally each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet. The program will also air on the new ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates in Charlottesville, on FOX 35 Richmond and on WSET-TV ABC 13 in Danville, Lynchburg, and Roanoke.
Senior baseball player Tom Hagan will host the show. The program will feature highlights and analysis from baseball’s series against Boston College. The show will spotlight football’s outstanding tight ends, Tom Santi, Jonathan Stupar, and John Phillips. Also included is a feature on standout softball player Sara Larquier, highlights from the women’s lacrosse team’s game against Virginia Tech, and a tribute to the top moments in Virginia athletics this year.
