Charlottesville, VA – Virginia sophomore golfer Conrad Von Borsig tied for second at the 2006 Kenridge Invitational held at Farmington Country Club last weekend. Von Borsig carded rounds of 73, 70 and 68 for a 54-hole total of 211. Former PGA Tour member Steven Lieber won the event at 208.

Von Borsig was not the only Cavalier with a high finish. John Fizer, who was a senior last season, shot 213 to tie for sixth. UVa men’s golf coach Bowen Sargent carded a 217 to place 12th overall.
