CHARLOTTESVILLE – The University of Virginia men’s tennis team will host the University of Virginia Men’s Open Championships this weekend at the Boyd Tinsley Courts at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. Play will begin on Friday, January 12 and run through Sunday, January 14.
The top two seeds for the tournament are current players at Old Dominion. Harel Srugo is the No. 1 seed and Henrique Cancado is the No. 2 seed. There are nine members of the Virginia team in the field, including No. 3 seed Marko Miklo (Bratislava, Slovakia), and No. 5 seeds Dominic Inglot (London, England), Ted Angelinos (Athens, Greece), and Houston Barrick (Brentwood, Tenn.).
