Virginia Competes at Husky Classic

SEATTLE, Wash. – Virginia’s Billie-Jo Grant took second in the shot put, tossing a 50′ 4.75″ at the Husky Classic today in Seattle at the University of Washington. The Cavalier third-year has already provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships. All-American Emily Harrison ran a 16:52.12 over the 5K while ACC Champion Andrew Dumm ran 14:24.78 over the same distance. The Cavaliers return to action at the Virginia Tech Challenge next Friday, Feb. 16 in Blacksburg.
