Question: What is your favorite overall golf course and why?
Von Borsig: Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa. is my favorite golf course. Not only is it a good golf course, rated No. 8 in the country, but I worked there for two years and played the course nearly everyday. The course is not visually spectacular, it is impossibly hard. It makes you think so much that it really helps your game. I also have so many good memories on every hole. Every time I play the course I will look at a bunker or a green and recall some cool memory from a previous round.

Question: What is your favorite single golf hole and why?
Von Borsig: My favorite hole is the 7th hole at Farmington Country Club here in town. It is a 510-yard par five. It is way downhill off the tee with a creek about 300 yards from the tee. I always have fun trying to see If I can carry it, it is the perfect measuring stick. As you can see, it is just a fun hole from tee to green. The chance for any score form three to a seven is possible so it really keeps you excited.

Question: If you could create your own major what would it be?
Note: This question refers to an academic major, but give Von Borsig credit for truly thinking like a golfer.
Von Borsig: Match Play event at Pine Valley Golf Club in N.J. It’s the number one course in the world and it is so secluded and private that it would make the coolest venue ever.
