Virginia Men's Distance Medley Relay Earns All-America Honors

The Virginia men’s distance medley team of Alex Tatu, Brian Lee, Jordan Orr and Kevin McHale finished seventh at the 2007 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, earning All-America honors for the quartet and earning two team points for the Cavaliers in the meet. The Cavalier foursome ran 9:40.18 and held off Texas to take seventh. The `Hoos were seeded seventh going into the competition.
The relay honor is the first for a Virginia men’s team since the 1981 DMR also earned All-American honors.
Virginia’s Tomika Ferguson will compete in the triple jump on Saturday as the national championships continue at the University of Arkansas.
