What is your lucky number?
I guess the number “3” could be considered my lucky number. I’m not much of a “lucky number” kind of person but growing up I had the number 3 in most all my sports numbers.
The best thing about playing college softball is?
The best thing about playing college softball is knowing that you are playing against some of the best athletes in the country. I love the competition, I love my teammates, the traveling and going to new places, and representing the University of Virginia. It is an unforgettable experience that I know I’ll never have anywhere else.
What is your favorite restaurant?
There is this Italian restaurant called “The Village” back in my hometown. It’s amazing.
What is your favorite character from a book?
Stephanie Plum.
What was on your lunchbox when you were a child?
My twin brother and I had matching red “Dick Tracy” lunchboxes.
What class would you like to teach?
I was in a great physics class my first year here at UVa in which the professor performed these great experiments for each class–it’d be fun to teach a class like that and play with gadgets and to show why things work the way they do.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
I would trade places with Tiger Woods. First, I’m not that great at golf and since Tiger is pretty decent, I could be good for a day. Second, it would be an amazing experience to be one of the most notable athletes of our time.
I hate shopping for…
I hate shopping for pants. Being tall, it makes it difficult to find pants that fit right and are long enough.
My favorite museum is…
The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
The thing in life I am most thankful for is…
I am most thankful for my friends and family. They’re always there for me and the only thing that is irreplaceable in my life.
My favorite thing I always pack for a roadtrip is…

The word that best describes myself is…
Driven.
If you could create your own major what would it be?
I would create a major in which you traveled around the world, studying the various cultures, traditions, and peoples of a specific country or region for each semester….maybe call it “International Study”
Ten years from now I hope to be…
The top female ESPN sports broadcaster? Or if that doesn’t work out exactly, I’ll settle for happy, successful and surrounded by people I love!
What do you love most about UVa and why?
I love UVa’s unique culture and history. It’s a beautiful place with lasting traditions and after spending four years at UVa, you become a part of that history and the memories you make stay with you forever.
