Charlottesville, VA – Virginia men’s golf recruit Will Collins won his second straight North Carolina High School Athletic Association state 2-A men’s golf championship Tuesday. After trailing by two shots following the opening round, Collins shot 1-under 71 during the final 18 holes to successfully defend his title by three stroke with a two-day total of 143. The tournament was held at the Long Leaf Golf and Country Club in Southern Pines.
Collins helped Salisbury High School to a fourth-place finish in the team competition.
